Ion Generation And Ozone Technology Are Utilized By Flair Air Purifiers

2

Flair air purifiers are equipped with the technology to reproduce positive and negative ions as well as ozone within the comfort of your home. The logic behind charging ions to purify the air lies in the fact that lightning produces these particles and rain brings them closer to the ground. Contaminants in the air will then be removed through ionic interactions with the charges or oxidized by the ozone. The clean, clear after-a-rainstorm air effect is what Flair air purifiers intend to achieve in your home after a purification cycle. The idea is to produce naturally clean air, not filter the air content to an acceptable level. In order to do this, the Flair purifier uses Ion Generation technology where a pair of SynAirG purification plates is installed alongside an Ozone generator. Ions are released from the purification plates and ozone is generated when the unit is turned on.

Flair PurifierAdditionally, Flair air cleaners are also designed with a sanitizing mode in which the unit operates for a couple of hours with maximum ozone output. The original setting will be resumed at the end of the two hours. Users can interrupt this mode by turning the power off and turning it back on ten seconds later.

Regarding cleaning methods, there is a lint screen on the back of each Flair purifier that filters the air that goes into the purifier. The lint screen will need to be cleaned if it is dirty, as cleaning will restore the purifier back to optimum purifying levels. Simply vacuuming or scrubbing the lint screen with a toothbrush and washed with hot water will prove to be adequate. In due time, the lint screens should also be replaced. As for the purification plates, ammonia is used to remove all contaminants. This requires the plates to be soaked in ammonia for 20 minutes, and later scrubbing it with a brush to clear off the remaining residue. Finally, rinse the plate off and let it air-dry for 24 hours.

I have a flair that is about 10 years old and it has been working very well. Yesterday I cleaned the screens and the plates. I also blew off the dust with a small air compressor as I always do. I put it back in service today and the fan came on for a minute then it would rotate very slow. The purifier worked just fine. I have pets and I really need this purifier. Please let me know what to do or check. I am very mechanical so let me know.

Thanks

Is there any risk to my health using the flair ozone purifier i am seeing conflicting reports on the internet but none to refute the negative claims. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts
